The presence of a direct line of communication between physician and physical therapists assures the patient that coordination of services is focused on enhancing positive post-op recovery through immediate intervention and maintained follow-up as needed.
Post-op physical therapy is an interracial part of the success of many orthopaedic type surgeries.
Studies have shown that specific joint mobilization and stretching exercises performed by the physical therapist, are most effective right after the injection when the patient is most relaxed with minimal pain.
